Assets are Tables, Views, Models, or File Groups.

The Assets Dashboard is where you create assets and access assets that have been shared with you from other Hunni users.

Lets dive into the dashboard. Explanations for the numbered items can be found below.

  1. Assets Menu
    1. My Folders: This is where you store the assets you create. You can organize your assets using multiple root folders and create sub-folders in the Asset Nav Window. Only you see your folders. When you share assets your folders arn't shared with them.
    2. Shared with Me - Internal: Business accounts will access any assets shared internally here. Free and individual accounts will not see this section.
    3. Shared with Me - External: When someone externally shares assets with you, their organization or account name will appear here.
  2. Explorer Window
    1. Folder Breadcumb/Search: Navigate your sub-folders and search any text in the Asset Nav Window. Use pencil button to rename or delete the active folder.
    2. Action Buttons: Buttons for performing various actions depending on your active selection. Buttons will be active based on your selection.
      1. Expand: Expand the selected asset (only for Tables, Views, and File Groups). This will take you to the Expanded Grid view. In the Expanded Grid you can easily explore the data in your assets. You can also add/edit/delete data within your assets here.
      2. Download: Download the selected asset to a .CSV file.
      3. Favorite: Clicking this will favorite or unfavorite the asset. Favorites appear on your homepage in Favorites table.
      4. Upload: Upload a new table from an excel file, or upload to a selected table using an excel file. If you need to create a table with a document column, you can either add that column after uploading using the Edit-> Table button, or create the table structure first using the New->Table button.
      5. New: Create new Tables, Views, Models, File Groups, or Folders. New assets will appear in the active folder. Change asset locations using Edit->Location.
      6. Edit:
        1. Structure Detail: Edit the selected assets structure and details such as table columns, view/model relationships, the asset name, and description.
      7. Alert: Creates an alert on a selected asset, which will send you an email notification if a new row is added.
        1. Hourly will alert you once an hour for any new row
        2. Daily will alert you once a day
        3. You will not be alerted if no new rows are added
        4. You can manage all your alerts in your account settings
      8. Security: Takes you to the security manager for the selected asset, where you can manage existing user access.
      9. Share: Share the selected asset. See the Sharing Guide for how to share assets.
    3. Asset Nav Window: All the assets in the selected folder or those shared to you will appear here. Select an asset to preview it and active the action buttons.
  3. Preview Window
    1. Asset Preview: Displays a preview of the selected asset. Tables, Views, and File Groups will display the first 50 rows. Models will show a summary of the tables and relationships contained in the model. Drag and drop new files into the preview grid to add new files to File Groups.
    2. Preview Footer: Contains a link to expand Tables, Views, and File Groups.
