Connections

3min

Connections are other Hunni users that you share to or are sharing to you.

When you share an asset with another Hunni user for the first time, a connection request is automatically sent to them. You can check the status of outbound connection requests in Workflow and Tasks. Once they accept, they’ll have access to the asset you’ve shared to them and you can continue sharing to them. If they share an asset with you, you'll need to accept their request. Inbound connection requests appear in Tasks .

Inbound vs Outbound

  • Inbound Connection: You have accepted an external users request to connect and can recieve assets they shared with you.
  • Outbound: An external users has accepted your request to connect and can recieve assets you share with them.
  • Inbound/Outbound Connection: You can send and recieve assets from the user. For business subscribers all connections within the same organization are automatically inbound/outbound.

Connection Approvals

Business subscribers can choose to have an added layer of security on sharing, by requiring all new external connections have an approval from another internal user before sharing.

Approvers can be assigned in your account settings in Manage Users .

Manage Connections

You can delete connections in My Connections, located in Account menu.

When you delete a connection, all assets shared between you and that connection will be deleted.

You can choose to delete inbound, outbound, or all connections for specific users.

Business subcriber Admins can manage connections across all org members in User Connections, located in the Account menu. This menu will only be visible for admins.

Deleted connections cannot be undone. To reconnect with somone, you will need to reshare assets with them.
